Buy Local, Save on Taxes

April 23, 2021

New Jersey has the highest property taxes in the nation. Assemblyman Dancer introduced legislation that could help local businesses thrive and residents save on taxes. The Property Tax Rewards Program model allows local municipalities to authorize programs encouraging local shopping through property tax credits.

New Jersey has already seen this model succeed in towns like Marlboro, Brick, Toms River, and Point Pleasant. It's time New Jersey's leadership provide tax relief, instead of rhetoric.

Assemblyman Dancer's bill, A4806, has passed both the General Assembly and State Senate. Now that it is on Governor Murphy's desk, ask him to sign this legislation into law. You can contact the governor by emailing

School Funding

April 15, 2021

Governor Murphy’s latest budget is a disaster for 193 schools state-wide, including 9 schools in our area. For the third year in a row, he has proposed massive cuts to our educational system.

If you live in New Hanover, Old Bridge, Manalapan, Millstone, Roosevelt, Upper Freehold, Allentown, Jackson or Plumsted, your State educational aid is on the chopping block. Each dollar in aid taken by Governor Murphy must be made up by either higher property taxes or a reduction in programs and staff.

Please join us in opposing these devastating cuts by signing our online petition to Governor Murphy. We need to stand united and tell the Governor that we are tired of paying for his bad decisions. Sign the petition by visiting
